Dr. Gerry Faust founded Faust Management Corporation (FMC) in 1983 and served as its President and CEO until 2004. FMC specializes in managing major organizational change efforts, coaching CEOs and developing and licensing tools, methods and techniques that help companies and their leaders succeed. His consulting clients have included many of the nation’s leading companies such as American Airlines, Well Fargo, Domino’s Pizza, Bank of America, and Ciba-Geigy. In 1987 he was voted the outstanding business resource in the U.S. by TEC, an international organization of over 6,000 CEOs. Dr. Faust has served on the boards of several public and private companies, with most of them being in the medical and technology arenas.
Dr. Faust has a long history as a business executive, strategist, thought leader and advisor. From 1968 to 1970 he served with the U.S. Army Medical Field Service School developing innovative educational programs including the Masters Program in Physical Therapy, and advising physicians and scientists on research design and methods. While in the Army, he also served as an adjunct professor with Baylor University’s Health Care and Hospital Administration Faculty. In 1971, he founded Courseware, Inc., and as its President and CEO, built this high technology training company into the largest company in the industry with triple digit growth each year while he was its President. Courseware was sold in a strategic acquisition to Anderson Consulting in 1987. Dr. Faust was also President of The Adizes Institute, an international management consulting firm. He doubled the revenues of that very profitable firm in each of his four years as President. He co-authored “Responsible Managers Get Results” that has become a favorite among results-oriented people throughout the country.
Dr. Faust co-founded BioniCare Medical Technologies and is Chairman of the Board. He is full-time with the company, focusing on Business Development and special markets, and directing targeted process improvement projects in key operating areas of the company.
Dr. Faust received his B.A. from St. John’s University, and M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois. For the past 24 years, Dr. Faust has been a distinguished member of the adjunct faculty of the Executive Program at the University of California, Los Angeles Graduate School of Management.
