Stephen A. Faust

Mr. Faust is a Senior Consultant and the Managing Director of Faust Management Corporation, a San Diego, CA based management consulting firm that specializes in providing methods, approaches, tools and systems that help create the insights and environments that allow businesses, their leaders and managers to succeed.

Faust Management was founded in 1983 by Stephen’s father, Dr. Gerry Faust, who was a co-founder, President and CEO of Courseware, Inc. the nation’s premier high technology education company. Courseware was acquired by Andersen Consulting in 1987 and became the foundation for their technology/web-based training and education systems organization. Dr. Faust was also the President of the Adizes Institute, an international management consulting firm.

Faust Management has conducted major organizational change programs and consulting with companies of all sizes including: Domino’s Pizza, American Airlines, Ochsner Clinic Foundation, McCann Ericson, The Aspen Skiing Company, Bank of America, First Franklin Financial, GMAC, Road Runner Sports, Wells Fargo (USA); just to name a few.

Stephen’s consulting career began in 1986 with Faust Management and continued as Director of Project Management for The Ken Blanchard Companies, before returning to FMC in 1998. At Faust Management, he has been responsible for the product development and consultant training on all of Faust Management’s unique suite of EXECUTIVE INSIGHT® organizational assessment tools. At one time Faust Management had over 60 licensed consultants world-wide.

Since 1999 along with 40 other Founding Faculty business experts of MentorU.com, Stephen and Faust Management have been refining ways to leverage, support and deliver their best practices via online technologies -- with the same methodologies and results goals as before the world-wide web.

This toolset now makes it possible for Faust Management to use a blended process to consult with, train, and support the “client’s” implementation of a plan to create improved results in a more efficient and cost effective way than has ever been possible.

Mr. Faust has superb skills in group process facilitation and training, and an extensive background in developing tools and programs that help others develop and apply these skills. He has been a process facilitator and trainer in the areas of Strategic Planning, Problem Solving, Customer Service, Team Building and Process Improvement, with numerous clients in the United States, Australia, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom including AT&T, ExxonMobil, American Airlines, Durham Transportation, American Fidelity Assurance, General Motors, United Capital, GMAC Mortgage, Vista Information Solutions, Buck Knives, Road Runner Sports, HOM Furniture, The Wellbridge Company, Stefan’s Hair Salons, British Gas, the National Ski Areas Association, and many Health & Fitness Industry clients.

Steve has been a guest lecture for the MBA programs at California Lutheran and Pepperdine Universities and serves as an executive coach for a number of his clients including his role for the last six years as the facilitator of one of FMC’s Club Executive Roundtables.

As an experienced speaker, he has worked with numerous groups and businesses including the Northwest Athletic Club Association, the International Computer Consultant’s Association, The Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Western Fairs Association, the International Health and Racquet Sports Association and the Mountain Travel Symposium.

Stephen holds degrees in Business Administration and Psychology from California Lutheran University and in addition to his position at Faust Management, is a partner with the Club Performance Network, an online learning portal geared to the Health Club industry.
